Dragons Lair Airsoft is a family-run business established in 1987, located at Stifford Hall Hotel in North Stifford, Essex. With over 35 years of experience, we've built a reputation for superb value for money and exceptional customer service.
We pride ourselves on our player community with many regular players and newcomers who quickly become regulars. Our commitment to safe and enjoyable experiences is backed by professional marshals who ensure all safety procedures are followed.

Rentals: Must book in advance with £25 non-refundable deposit. £30 security deposit (refunded when equipment returned).
Note: Rental reservations cannot be cancelled once deposit is paid.

Mandatory safety brief at 10:00 AM covers all rules. Safety and fair play are our top priorities
Gun Transport
ALL guns MUST be transported in a gun bag or case between vehicle and safe zone. Zero tolerance policy - gun cases available on-site, just ask.
FPS Limits
AEG: 350fps (0.2g)
DMR: 450fps (semi-locked)
Bolt Action: 500fps (0.2g).
DMR & Snipers: 30m engagement distance.
Safe Zone Rules
Magazines MUST be removed from all guns. Grenades stowed in pouches. No dry firing in safe zone.
Age Limits
Players from 11 years old welcome. Under 18s MUST wear full face protection. Young Guns should be accompanied by parent/adult.
Eye Protection
Full seal eye protection mandatory at all times in active areas. Under 18s require full face protection. No exceptions.
Call Your Hits
Honesty and integrity essential. Call hits immediately, follow marshal instructions, and play fair. Respect all players.
Important Information
Mandatory Safety Brief: Full site rules will be covered during the mandatory safety brief. Arrive by 10:00 AM.
First Aid: Two trained first aiders are on site at all times for your safety.
Rule Compliance: Failure to follow site rules may result in removal without refund.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before your visit
Walk-on players (£25) can just turn up on game days - no booking needed! However, if you need to rent equipment (M4 Package £55), you must book in advance with a £25 non-refundable deposit plus £30 refundable equipment deposit.
Gates open at 8:00 AM. Chrono opens at 9:00 AM. The mandatory safety brief and first game starts at 10:00 AM. We recommend arriving by 9:30 AM to get set up and chronographed in time.
If you have your own equipment: bring your airsoft gun(s), eye protection, BBs, and batteries/gas. Wear comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for the weather. We provide free tea and coffee, but bring lunch or purchase from Stifford Hotel's special menu.

Enter the Stifford Hall Hotel grounds, follow the road to the left all the way to the back of the hotel and down the ramp. Dragons Lair car park is at the rear. Free parking is available from 7:30 AM on game days.

Yes! You're welcome to bring your own lunch. Alternatively, Stifford Hall Hotel offers a special lunch menu for players. Free tea and coffee are provided all day in the setup area.
Yes! Darren Burns, our on-site gun tech, is available for repairs and maintenance. The AirsoftZone shop also stocks consumables and equipment.
